While we work from home, we didn’t want to miss out on our morning chats over coffee that let us really get to know fellow C-Kers. We decided to take time out from our Zoom meetings to share a cup of coffee and a chat with Julie Sheridan, SVP, group account director, who bravely offered to be our first interview.

“I’m not good on camera. You’re going to find that out now,” she joked. But of course she did just fine. Better than fine.

Julie also has a leg up on all of us: her advertising career actually started when she was 5 years old.

“You know, ever since I was a little kid, I wanted to be in advertising,” she explains. “I don’t know why. I used to make up commercials when I was in the bathtub when I was 5 years old. It’s just something I’ve always wanted to do.”

Julie also discusses her favorite resources, the book she recommends to everyone and what makes her proud.

One thing that didn’t make the final cut? She shares the best advice she’s ever gotten about work:

“Develop your point of view, learn to defend it and stick to it until you get better information.”
