Andrew Meyer

Andrew is a former instructor at the U of Chicago, a former creative at Instagram and a former C-K creative who stepped through a wormhole and came back as his own boss.

Andrew is on his second tour at C-K. In his first, he led creative on accounts including Hilton, Porsche and Corona, for whom he penned the tagline “Find Your Beach.” Now he’s back as our ECD.

He rejoins C-K after more than six years at Facebook/Instagram, where he led a team in the creation of mobile video, augmented reality effects, bots and virtual reality experiences, working in close consultation with clients, agencies and media partners. He also worked on charitable efforts, including the Ice Bucket Challenge to battle ALS.

Prior to Facebook, he was with Leo Burnett (also twice—are we sensing a pattern?) as a writer and ECD on Altoids, Coca-Cola, Cadillac, Morgan Stanley, Maytag, JennAir, Pontiac, P&G, Kellogg’s, Nintendo and Samsung.

His awards include Film Lions at Cannes, One Show Pencils, Gold Effies, and more than one hundred ANDYs, Obies, Clios, Kellys and Communication Arts Advertising Annual publications.

A certified motorhead, in his free time you’ll often find Andrew “finding his beach” in his garage at his home in Chicago, wrenching on an old car or motorbike, a cold Corona close at hand.
