Porsche brings together Sabré Cook and Margie Smith-Haas to bond and burn rubber.

Sometimes to blaze trails you have to burn a little rubber. Porsche brought two powerhouse racers together for a day of inspiration and advice while cruising around in a 911 GTS. Margie Smith-Haas, the first woman to win a professional road racing championship in North America, started her career in 1978 driving the Porsche 914-4. Sabré Cook is a 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup Scholarship winner and the first woman to race in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America. In the mountains of Rosamond, California, we caught the moment as they met for the first time and then developed a genuine connection. They discussed the shift in racing from the 1980s and 90s to today, navigating a heavily male racing culture, the characteristics they share that make them so successful, and more.
