This month marks the 50th anniversary of the Pride movement and Chicago is going all out to celebrate with a bevy of parties, dance parties, comedy shows, and food and drink specials benefiting LGBTQ causes. We’ve put together a guide to 19 ways you can show your support and get in on the fun.
Frozen pop special at Pretty Cool Ice Cream

The Logan Square frozen treats shop serves a special ice cream pop made with strawberry custard dipped in white chocolate and passionfruit and covered with rainbow-colored heart-shaped sprinkles ($5.50) during June. A portion of the proceeds goes to Center on Halsted. Commuters can also grab a bar throughout the day June 27 at the Lake, Grand, Belmont, Thorndale and Quincy CTA stations.
